How Collection Helps You Bundle Your Best Work and Sell It for More

Collection is a product type on your Mainstack that lets you group multiple digital products together and sell them as a single, bundled offer, at one price.

If you've been selling individual digital products, for example, eBooks, templates, guides, mini-courses, audio files, toolkits, etc., you're likely leaving money on the table with every sale.

This is not because your products aren't valuable, but because buyers often don't know everything you have, and the friction of multiple purchases stops them from buying more.

Think of Collection as your digital gift basket, except it pays you every time someone unwraps it.

Top reasons why selling products in collections offers more sales value

  1. Perceived Value Outpaces the Price

Buyers are wired to recognize a deal. When someone sees five items that would cost $50 individually available for $40 as a bundle, they feel like they're winning. That feeling drives conversions, even when your margin is still healthy.

  1. It Showcases the Full Depth of Your Expertise

One product shows a buyer one side of you. A Collection shows them the breadth of what you know and what you can deliver. A content creator who sells a writing guide, a brand kit, and a monetization workbook together isn't just selling three things; they're positioning themselves as a complete resource for content businesses.

  1. Higher Revenue Per Sale, Without More Work

A single eBook at $5 earns you $5. A Collection of five resources bundled at $18 earns you 3.6x more from the same buyer, in the same transaction. You're not working harder; you're packaging and selling smarter.

How Collection Works on Mainstack

Setting up a Collection on your Mainstack Storefront is as intuitive as creating any other product. Here's the flow:

Step 1: Go to your dashboard and add a New Product

From your Mainstack dashboard, navigate to your Storefront and create a new product. Select Collection as the product type.

Step 2: Name Your Collection and Write the Description

Give your bundle a clear, compelling name that communicates the outcome and not just the contents. "The Content Creator Starter Pack" will outsell "Bundle #1" every time. Use the description to spell out exactly what's included and what the buyer will be able to do after purchasing.

Idea

Pro Tips for Selling Collections That Convert/Tip: Name it like an outcome, not a list.

"The Freelance Finance Bundle" converts better than "3 Finance PDFs." Buyers buy results, not file counts.

Idea

Pro Tips for Selling Collections That Convert/Tip: Show the "without bundle" price.

In your description, list what each item costs separately, then show the bundle price. Making the savings visible triggers the purchase.

Step 3: Add Your Products to the Bundle

Select the existing digital products on your Store dashboard that you want to include in this Collection. These could be eBooks, templates, audio files, PDFs, resource guides, video downloads, or any digital product type you've already listed.

PS: The products you add retain their individual pages; they're simply grouped here for bundle delivery.

Idea
Pro Tips for Selling Collections That Convert/Tip: Include at least one "exclusive" element.

If you add even one item to the Collection that isn't available individually — a bonus worksheet, a private checklist, a resource guide — the bundle becomes the only way to get that item. That exclusivity is a powerful conversion lever.

Step 4: Set Your Bundle Price

Price your Collection at a sweet spot: high enough to reflect the combined value, but compelling enough to feel like a deal. A common approach is to price the bundle at 50–70% of what the items would cost if purchased separately. But you know your audience, so price accordingly.

Step 5: Publish and Share

Once published, your Collection appears on your Storefront like any other product, with its own dedicated page and link you can share directly to your audience. When buyers visit your page, they will see the value, pay once, and receive access to everything inside.

Tip: Use your purchase email to upsell.

Mainstack lets you customize the email buyers receive after purchasing. Use it to introduce your next offer, a hosted course, a coaching package, or your next Session. Your Collection buyer is a warm customer. Keep them in your ecosystem.

Step 6: List on the Affiliate Marketplace (Optional)

To drive more sales, you can list your Collection in the Mainstack's Affiliate Marketplace, offer decent commissions, and let your community become your sales team. You can achieve all this without spending on ads.

The Affiliate Marketplace helps other creators and affiliates (promoters) earn a commission for every sale they drive to your products.

Simple Extra Products you can Add as a Collection

Collections work best when the products inside share a theme, a goal, or an audience problem they collectively solve. Here are some examples across creator types:

  1. The Content Creator

  • A caption-writing guide

  • A 30-day content calendar template

  • A brand voice workbook

  • A monetization roadmap PDF

These products can be bundled as "The Complete Content Business Kit."

  1. The Finance Professional

  • A personal budgeting template

  • A debt-payoff tracker

  • A savings goal workbook

  • An investment basics guide

These products can be bundled as "Your Financial Reset Pack."

  1. The Coach or Consultant

  • A client onboarding template

  • A discovery call script

  • A proposal/pricing guide

  • A contracts-for-coaches PDF

These products can be bundled as "The Coaching Business Launch Kit."

  1. The Educator

  • A study habit guide

  • A note-taking framework

  • An exam prep checklist

  • A time management workbook

These products can be bundled as "The Student Success Bundle."

IdeaTip: The pattern is always the same: group related resources, name the outcome, and price it as a unit. If you can answer the question "What is this Collection designed to help someone accomplish?" You have a sellable collection.

You Already Have Everything You Need

The most common reason creators don't bundle their products isn't a lack of content; it's not realizing that what they already have is valuable enough to package and price as a premium offer.

If you have two or more digital products on your Mainstack Storefront, you're ready to create a Collection today. Group them, name the outcome, set a price that reflects the combined value, and open it to buyers worldwide.

Your knowledge, your templates, your frameworks; they don't have to be sold one piece at a time. Collection is how you sell the whole picture.
