How to Create a Discount on Hosted Courses.

Here’s how to create a discount on your Hosted Courses Dashboard;

1. Log in to your Mainstack Dashboard.  
2. On the Home page, click on Hosted Courses
3. Click on More at the top right corner of the dashboard.
4. Select Discounts
5. Click on the “Create Discount” button
6. Enter a discount name  
7. Add a discount code
1. You can generate a random code or create a custom one.
8. Set the discount type
1. Choose between a percentage discount (e.g., 20%) or a fixed amount (e.g., $1,000 off).
9. Select where the discount applies
1. Choose All apps (Storefront, Bookings, and Courses) - if you have other types of products/services you want the discount to be applied to, or
2. Choose Hosted Courses and select specific courses or all courses.
10. Set validity dates
1. Starts immediately by default.
2. Optionally, schedule a start and expiry date.
11. Limit redemptions (optional)
1. Set a maximum number of times the discount can be used.
12. For subscription products
1. Define a discount duration (e.g., first billing cycle only).

After saving, the discount becomes active immediately or on the scheduled start date.
