How to determine who pays the Sales Tax

Follow this quick guide to choose who bears the cost of sales tax on your storefront.

1. Log in to your Mainstack Dashboard.
2. Click the hamburger menu (the 3 horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the screen).
3. Select Account Settings.
4. Under Product Settings, click on Storefront.
5. Go to the Payment section.
6. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
7. Under Sales Tax, choose your preferred option:
   
1. The customer pays tax
2. The merchant pays tax
   

That’s it! Your preference will be saved automatically.
