How to Set Up and Use the (NGN) Bank Transfer Payout Option



This payout option allows Nigerian merchants on Mainstack to receive their payouts directly into their local bank accounts, in Naira, without needing to convert from USD or any other foreign currency.

With this payout method, merchants in Nigeria can now enjoy:
  • Faster access to funds
  • Request payouts directly into a Nigerian bank account
  • Receive funds in NGN (Naira) without going through extra FX conversion steps
This is part of our effort to simplify payout processes and support local operations for our Nigerian merchant community.

Who Is Eligible?

Any Mainstack merchant located in Nigeria is automatically eligible.
No signup, activation, or special request is required. The feature is available by default.

How to Set It Up

Follow these steps to set up an (NGN) Bank Transfer payout:
  1. Log in to your Mainstack Dashboard
  2. Click on the hamburger menu or the icon with your profile picture
  3. Click on Account settings.
  4. Click on Payout Settings.
  5. Select “Bank Transfer in Naira” as your payout method
  6. Select your local bank and enter your account number:
  7. Mainstack will automatically:
    • Validate the account number
    • Display the account name associated with the bank account
  8. Next, click Confirm.
That’s it! Your funds will be sent in Naira, directly to your bank account each time you request a payout.
