Managing Email Notifications for Multiple Businesses

Managing Email Notifications for Multiple Businesses

Business-level email notifications ensure that each business under your Mainstack account receives its own dedicated email notifications.

Previously, all notifications (such as transactions, payouts, and receipts) were sent to the main account email, regardless of which business they came from. This often made it difficult to organize communications when managing multiple businesses.

Now, each business has a unique email address associated with it, which is used for all notifications related to that business. This setup will help keep communications organized and specific to the correct business.

How It Works

Each business on your Mainstack account has a designated email address under Business Info.
  • Notifications related to Business 1 (for example, transaction receipts or payout updates) will be sent to Business 1’s email address.

  • Notifications for Business 2 will be sent to Business 2’s email address, and so on.

This allows for clearer organization and separation of communications for merchants managing multiple businesses and ensures that notifications for one business do not mix with updates for another.

Notification Types

Business-level notifications include:

  • Transaction receipts

  • Payout confirmations

  • Refund updates

  • Other business-specific alerts

Note: Account-wide updates (for example, security alerts or password resets) will continue to be sent to your main account email.

How to Manage Business Emails

To review or update the email linked to a business:

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.

  2. Click on the hamburger icon with your profile picture (three lines) at the top right corner of your dashboard.

  3. Click on Account settings

  4. Click on Business information

  5. Review or edit your email address.

  6. Click on Save changes

Benefits

  • Better organization: Keep brand communications separate.

  • Easier management: Each business can handle its own updates independently.

  • Improved efficiency: Quickly find and respond to important notifications for the right business.

If notifications are not appearing in the correct inbox:

  • Confirm that the business email address is correct and active.

  • Check your spam or promotions folder.

  • Ensure email filters are not blocking messages from Mainstack.
